The three-year Development Impact Bond (DIB), launched in June 2015, funds an education program run by Indian NGO Educate Girls in a remote rural district of Rajasthan. The DIB has exceeded its targets in some cases, achieving 87.7% of its three-year target to enroll 79% of all eligible out-of-school girls in the program area. This publication is an interview Maharshi Vaishnav and Alison Bukhari from Educate Girls, where they describe the creation of the DIB and the lessons learned thus far.
